It is customary to provide your photographer(s) with food & drink during events longer than 4 hours; whether it is a trip to the buffet or being provided a "vendor meal" when it is a sit-down dinner.*

Of course, proper etiquette dictates that "the help" shouldn't be fed before all of the guests are served... BUT if I am fed last, in most cases the reception has moved forward and there are photos to be taken by the time I am handed a plate. Please let your coordinator or caterer know this.

It is understood that any and all images are the copyright of and remain the property of the photographer, Heather Murphy. Selling or editing of the images without the express consent of Heather Murphy is a violation of federal law.*

Client has unlimited printing rights. Editing refers to altering an image taken by Heather Photographers with editing software including but not limited to adding filters, skin enhancements, colorizing or making B&W, etc. In some cases, the cropping of an image may require photographer approval. It is best to not crop an image more than 20% or so.

It is understood that any and all images that are shared electronically or in a public space on the Internet will be credited to Heather Murphy of Heather Photographers unless there is already a watermark or signature on the image.*

In certain situations, you may wish to retain photographer longer than originally contracted. Additional time is billed at $150 per 30 min. for wedding photography or $125 per 30 min. for general event photography. Unless payment is immediately received, you will be invoiced the next business day and be responsible for paying the balance before any proofs are delivered.*

In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the event or if inclement weather makes travel dangerous to the event, Heather Murphy will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.*

Heather Murphy takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs. However, in the unlikely event that photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond Heather Murphy’s control, Heather Murphy’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.*

Family and friends of the contracting party are welcome to photograph the event as long as they will not interfere with the Photographer’s duties.*

Although, it is highly advised that special ceremonies are "Device-Free" to encourage witnessing & experiencing it.
