Afternoon-Evening Wedding, October 5:
I am so lucky to have been part of Chelsea & David’s state park wedding! She was another beautiful bride with an incredible gown! He was an insanely handsome & photogenic groom! Chelsea & David were so much fun and I consider myself blessed to have been chosen to photograph their wedding story!!
The group shelter was perfect! It is a smidge more rustic than your typical venue but it has all the space and amenities you could need and right next to the water. At $265 rental fee for a Saturday (+$5/per car) , you can spend some of that wedding budget on other things…like on me, Heather Photographer…with a final story book album! 🙂
Red Top State Mountain Park was named for the soil’s rich red color caused by high iron-ore content, Red Top Mountain was once an important mining area. It is a hiker’s haven. More than 15 miles of trails wind through the forested park, providing opportunities for exercise and nature photography. Picnic shelters and group shelters may be rented for meetings, parties, reunions and other celebrations. Guests often stay overnight in rental cottages, a spacious campground or the park’s lakeside yurt.
Thanks to all of the wonderful vendors that made this day possible.
